it used to be a two eye wink but last week he mastered it. It was awesome. he was so proud of himself. mostly because we made a big deal out of it. but it was a big deal. it was so cool to look over and see him one eye wink at me out of the blue!

week 32

Well its week 32 , the time is flying by. 8 more weeks sort of seems long but everytime i turn around its friday again and another week is gone.!Ive actually had energy and the desire to get things done lately. Must be nesting. Thank God for creating the nesting period because I was concerned I was going to be lazy and unmotivated forever. Feels mlike this whole pregnancy ive been just dragging myself around and forcing myself to do even the smallest tasks.
I have a before the bab y comes to-do list . I sctratched of painting the kitchen finally the other day. I had a two toned green kitchen that i nevber finished before christmas. I spent monday tackling that job. I had to put what felt like a hundred coats of paint on it. I last week organized and cleaned the cupboards and cleaned and scrubbed the fridge. So the kitchen is almost spring cleaned. and yet it looks terrible again. Thanks kiddies!
I went to the doctors and to my great surprise I only gained 1 pound in two weeks.WOOHOO that has never happened in the history of my pregnancy's. I also for once measure 31 cm and i was 31 weeks. I usually measure 2 cm bigger than my week.
So i asked again if the baby could end up 11 pounds. and Doc said starting at 32 weeks the baby will gain 1 pound per every 2 weeks. So if at the time of my appoint the baby was 4 pounds and 8 weeks left then the baby would gain approx 4 pounds. So he figures unless there is a huge growth spurt then the baby is looking like it is going to be 8-9 pounds! i can handle that! but again iam not holding my breath. But I will continue to watch what i eat and hopefully it will make the difference.
I go again next week again so hopefully its only another pounds wieght gain!
I go to the doctors every 2 wks now until i think 36 weeks then it jumps to every week.
Wow the baby will be here before we know it.
Better get going this morning and scratch off something off the to do list!

Bedtime prayer!

I just put Weston to bed and after a book and a little chit chat we talked to God for a few min. I usually start it off by thanking God for our day and keeping us safe and for all the fun things we got to do etc. Weston will chime in when he thinks of things. So after we had finished Weston oh yea and God tell Jesus to have fun in the sky! and tell him to not get lost or we will have to call 911!

Weston a few weeks ago at swim lessons got to slide down a fireman pole into the pool. Which is where i think the idea for today's game came from.I was laying in  bed with a cranky Nelson (will explain after) an d into the bedroom Weston runs with the broom. He leans it up on the foot board of the bed and climbs up on the bed and steps over and slides down the "fire pole" onto the floor. Well it wasn't that smooth because he fell into the laundry basket and then rolled onto the floor and then started laughing!

As for Nelson being cranky..... We had the dreaded vaccinations today.And if the whole needles thing didn't stress me out enough it was the awful MMR day.
I had originally intended to  not get my children this needle. But i later decided that if would get the initial needle but postpone if get it all the booster shot.
I don't like vaccinations for the ingredients in them but i do acknowledge the purpose of them. So instead of saying to to any I choose to wait until they are at least 15 months old before they receive ANY needles and then I pick and choose which ones I feel comfortable with.
It was mentally draining for me to make a decision to get any needles at all. but i made the decision with Weston and I had to talk to God about my Resistance to them and really realize that God is the only one that can keep my kids safe and that if I ask God to make sure nothing bad comes from them then I need to believe that , that is exactly what God will do. Do I have to remind myself that" fear isn't from God, that a sound mind is" constantly before and after i get the needles I most certainly do. But a little reminder is all I need and I am calm again!
Calm OK but annoyed yes still. Nelson got his needles at 10 , we went and played at the YMCA and ate lunch there. Came home and at 1:30 I put him to bed thinking there was a good chance he would sleep a good chunk of the afternoon away.
2:10 i was woken from my nap by him crying. I gave it a few min thinking he just stirred a bit and is trying to find his soother. No such luck.
I went and got him and he cried for 20 min while I held him and tried to calm him down. eventually he stopped the continuous cry and instead would only cry if I moved or if Weston touched him or looked at him the wrong way. But later on Weston was being silly and doing funny things that was making Nelson laugh so i knew he was starting to feel better
Needless to say it has been a long afternoon and evening. He did cuddle with me for 4 hours straight whichwas sort of nice but as soon as I would try to adjust my post ion because my back hurt after  a while he would fuss and cry.
But he is in bed and quiet and thank God will Iam sure wake up to be fine in the morning!. He has never had any reaction at all to his needles but he does have a runny nose so he might be fighting a cold as well. Good thing I just got the new aromatic chest rub yesterday so hes all lathered up and sleeping soundly.
\Westons sleeping Nelson and Hemi too. Pats out for the night and instead of cleaning the house Iam going to watch a movie right here on the couch with the laptop so i don't even have to move a inch!

                       Weston decided he wanted to sit nice and close to Noz. I am sure it had nothing to do with him having snacks.

30 weeks

30 WEEKS

2 weeks ago I had a doctors appointment and I gained a whopping 10 pounds that month! CRAZZZYYYY.Although I dont feel like I eat anymore or any worse than when Iam not preg I decided enough was enough. I needed to make a change. So I decided to drink only water and eat only air.

Well I tried that for half a day until I got hungry and that went out nthe window.

But I didnt cut back on carbs ,fats , sugar, portion control. etc!In other words I spend my days hungry and thinking about what I wish I could eat.

I had another docs appoint yesterday 2 weeks later and I only gained 3 pnds. Sure that was 3 pounds in 2 weeks but at least it wasnt 5 pounds.

I did eat a few meals that i wouldnt normally have because Pat and I were away but I was half pleased at it only being 3 pounds.

So the grand total so far is 186.5

With both the boys I finished around 200 pounds.

So my goal is to stay under 200! I have been gaining a few more pounds this time around but now that Iam strickly watching what I eat and now that the westher is nicer hopefully getting out and going walking!

Wenesday I had a second ultrasound.

At our 20 weeks ultrasound , it was discovered that my placenta was postioned low . It was 1.8cm and it is suposed to be 2cm . whatever that means. So they booked another ultrasound to make sure it moved up into postion!

Apparently if it didnt move it could block the baby from getting out thru the birth canal .

So wenesdays ultrasound showed a placenta in the right place. Thnx God. I certainly wasnt interested in a C section.

Also I found out the weight of the baby.

30 weeks 3lbs 3ounces

Wow that sounded so small. I figured it would be 5-6 pounds already.

I met with my doc yesterday and he said that that wieght for 30 weeks is in the 48th percential .

which means that is a average size baby at this point and he said by its current weight it is looking like it will be a average size at birth!

I am still a little leary but if u think about it for the baby to jump from 3 lbs to 11 lbs in 10 weeks is pretty extreme.

7 pounds is alot to grow in 10 weeks.

So here to hopeing!

It will be very strange to have a 8 pound baby. It will be awesome to exerience that!

I left the docs pretty excited!

Iam thinking first sign of labour I better hit the hospital, cuz Iam pretty sure a 8 pound baby would shoot right out after the first 2.

Oh yea, so 2 weeks ago I my stomache measured 29 cm and yesterday it jumped to 32 cm! wow. but good news is its not because of a large baby! woot woot!

( the cm should match up to the week of pregnancy u r in. so it should be 30 cm.)

I usually am 1-2 cm bigger than my week!

but weird to think in 2 weeks my belly grew 3 cm.

Iam also thinking that some of my wieght gain is water , because I can see it in my legs, and face and back. which is sort of encouraging because within the first few weeks it goes away and then Iam just left with the actual fat that was gained but the scale is much easier to look at!

                        The baby is a squirmer thats for sure. So neat to see them on the inside!

Next doctors appoint is March 30th . My goal is to only gain 2 pounds. which is normal . a pound a week is what m ost people gain after the first trimester!

Mommy is slacking!

 they are chomping on their Timmies Treats as Weston calls them. Mommy has been sort of a slacker lately. Ive loosened up a bit and actually bought them a plain timbit!!!! hahahah not a bog deal for most but it is for me.

You want to know why????? cuz I wanted a sour cream one! love them . sooooooo good.

Notice how there isnt a picture of me chowing down! I didnt want the evidience of me eating it and then everyone would know mine wasnt a timbit but a big donut! hahaha joking . It honestly was only a timbit ! I SWEAR.

Mister helpful getting his brother ready for the car wash! surpised Nelson isnt screaming like he usaully does when Weston tries to come near him!

It's 5:59 and the boys are carwashed , in their jammies and cuddled on the couch with mommy. We have the lights off and laptop playing fireman sAm. We r tightly tuck together on the couch. Weston , Nelson in the middle and me on the end . I have my Arm tucked around Nelson which puts my hand right by westons . I say " Weston hold my hand k! And he tucks it right in mine like it was made to fit perfectly. Awww what a feeling !!!!! But just when I think it couldn't get Any better than this, I feel nelsons little fingers working their way into our entangled fingers!!!!!! So sweet! Perfect moment! And it was only about a moment, until they were pushing each other a bit because they couldn't see the screen! Absorb the little moment's cuz sometimes they can feel few and far between.

Aww Nelson just kissed me( whileIi was typing) out of the blue!!!!!! Great night!

Another favorite thing is when out of the blue Nelson will look over at me and wink at me and then smiles.

It's double eye blink but he thinks he's winking at me like I wink at him. It's just the best when I didn't wink at him first and he just decides he wants to wink at me . I think he is saying he loves me!!!!!!

And in 15 min I will be completely filled with bedtime joy when the boys are in bed and i am on the couch relaxing watching the Bachelorette!!!!!! ( it's wenesday and the house is clean and quiet because it's just me and 2  sleeping boys ! Love u wenesday!)
