Good baby ? As apposed to a " Bad" baby ??????

I am often asked , and have been for all our babies , if Victoria is a good baby !
I guess I know what they mean but it makes me laugh a bit at what they are asking and it sounds like a weird thing to ask if u think about it . Not sure but I don't think there is actually a bad baby .
But like I said , I do understand what they are getting at .
And my resounding answer for all our babies has always been " yes we have had 4 very content babies , great eaters and sleepers and pretty easy going "
We have been doing pretty good with sleep at night . I have a routine that I used with all our babies . I feed them every 3 hrs and starting at 7 pm I cluster feed every 2 hrs . So 7,9,11 which is bedtime for me . By feeding every 2 hrs it helps to build up calories in their bellys that help them sleep longer .
So far V sleeps from 11 til 2:30-3 and I give her a quick half asleep feed for a few min and then put her back down and she then sleeps for another 3-4 hrs and then another quick feed and back to sleep she goes at which point it's usually time for me to get up and I get a shower in before she wakes again .
Normally our babies sleep in a bassinet beside our bed , but since we have been home Victoria has been sleeping with me in our bed . I started that because even with a bassinet beside the bed the movement and effort it took to get her in and out of there caused a strain and discomfort for my many stitches . So I have her beside me in her own little cozy spot .
Pat has been a trooper and has kindly been sleeping in the boys room with them. Which the boys love and will miss when we go back to our norm.
But we have a cool new loft bed for them that should help lesson the disappointment of daddy leaving and coming back to mommy .

We are so in love with " our new bathroom "

Haha who would of thought that a bathroom Reno that I had to talk Pat into would ignite such a love in his heart .
I'd say at least every other day since it was finished last week Pat has come and expressed his "LOVE" for our new family addition .
We decided to pretty much gut the bathroom and update it . It wasn't supper dated but it needed a face lift .
We started with having to scrap peeling paint off the ceiling and repaint that . Thnx mom and then we had a new fibreglass shower/ tub unit put in and then we opted for in floor heating and tile ( which makes the bathroom ) a new super tall toilet, new vanity and awesome sink top with a cool square sink oh and we love the new sink taps and a new mirror and other accessories . Oh and the Mack daddy of shower heads . It's awesome . The boys can have their own water spray from the lower head while pat can still have his from the top . Super cool . Oh i almost forgot about the awesome shower curtain rod . It's like the hotel ones that curve out and keeps the curtain from sticking to you and because its curved the curtain comes right around and keeps all water in . Love it .
Now that the bathroom project is complete it's on to the kitchen ....
I will blog about that process when it starts .

The boys .

The boys have been great the last2weeks . They have taken to having a sister pretty well considering they were wanting a brother .
Weston just constantly wants to kiss and hug her. Which until the last few days was discouraged because the boys still were coughing a fair amount . But now we allow the kisses ! Well not on the mouth lol on the head and cheeks .
Nelson is mister helpful in every area , I need a diaper he's there with it , Victoria needs a outfit he wants to pick it out , help bath , burp her like the picture below .
And Lenon has been pushing thru 4 eye teeth so he's been a little more cranky and needy than normal but he's taken to Victoria like his brothers . He's not as affectionate but he's not upset so that's a bonus .
Victoria is defiantly going to have big brother protection !

2 wk check up

Victoria had her 2 wk check up yesterday . We packed up and drove to Petti .
She weighed in at 10.9 and was obviously on the high end of the size scale but the doc said she's proportionate so that's good hahaha .
She weighed 10.3 at birth , dropped to 9.8 when we left the hospital . 2 days after at the discharge clinic she weighed 9.15 and a week and a bit later she climbed to 10.9 ! Not to bad , gained a pound since the hospital :)
