Easter Sunday

 Weston taking part in the Easter stort told thru Easter eggs. He did great . he got the egg with a cup in it. signifying the last supper! he remembered it. Pretty cool!

 The big kids came up to sing. Ia pretty sure Weston was supposed to come sit down, but decided to stay but he sat while the other stood and sang! he was very animated with his yawning ! hahaha

 after I and Nelson's nap and after Daddy and Weston got home from there adventure to Chapters we went up to the garage to give the boys their Easter surprises. Weston got a big boy bike!

 Nelson got a set of Nerf balls. He loves throwing things so it was pretty fitting.

 Well i didn't even get a picture of Weston on his new bike. he was on it for 2 min and decided he wanted to go play with his trucks instead. hahahah nelson on the other hand actually spent more time on Westons new bike than he did. Weston never has been that taken with bikes or his tricycle. Nelson seems more into it.

 this car on the other hand has been a big hit since i bought it a few years ago on kijiji. they love it, they fight over it! on your marks! get set! Go!

Nelson was ready to take the lead! they had so much fun outside today! a little chilly but they had a blast!

35 wks

Well this is me today. April 24th. starting my 36th week thing week. at my last doctors appoint I had only gained 1.5 pounds! woohoo. amazing for me!. and my belly measured 33 inches at 34 weeks. also pretty great. I usually measure a few cm over my week . So I am still somewhat thinking this baby may just be smaller than 11 pounds. I would really enjoy that!
Ive noticed lately that I haven't had much if any swelling in my ankles at all. Not that I had alot with the first 2 but I did have some.
Trying to keep on track with my eating and Ive been feeling pretty good. Although the last few days little baby X has been up in my ribs and pushing on my lungs. makes everything very uncomfortable. I don't really remember having that with the boys. I was tired yesterday and uncomfortable but today i feel better and not so uncomfortable. So I am wondering if the baby didn't drop down a bit yesterday. \I woke up this morning with cramps and the runs. I though oh man, could this be labor. I had that with both boys. but it just turned out to be nothing. but it could have to do with the shifting of the baby possibly!
Wow 4 weeks left! looking forward to meeting the baby! i think it gets more exciting with each baby y because you have such a appreciation for baby's,kids. watching our boys grow and develop and get awesome personalities so it makes having another baby so neat and easier to really enjoy it knowing what to expect in watching them develop!
Being a mom is amazing!

Patrick/ Daddy's Bday

            Ive certainly lightened up a bit and allow the boys to have cake, but only on special occasions!

               Gift time. The boys got all daddy's favorite snacks for his plane ride and trip to Atlanta.

 Party is over. Car wash time. The kiddies hopped on the Daddy train and got off at the car wash station!

 Saturday night,pats actual birthday we went for supper at the casino buffet, and I surprised him with Globe  Trotter tickets!

                  I wanted to do something diff for his birthday and wasn't convinced that the globetrotter's were going to be to entertaining for adults but i figured he likes basketball and there wasn't much else to do, and it was on his actual birhtday!

                He told me he went as a kid, so i was like oh well so this probably wasn't the best idea.
                        But he stayed glued to the show the entire time and he was really enjoying it.!

he was enjoying it so much he kept telling me to pay attention , but i just couldn't get into it. But he did and that's all that mattered.

I was very uncomfortable, my belly and back were hurting.

but all in all a good night!

Baby Talk

The boys like to talk to the new baby!

and this is how they do it!

First they yank up mommys shirt and expose the belly!

Then they push and poke to make sure the baby is awake and ready!

And then they slauber and blow kisses and make noises until they get bored of it!

Its funny except when they try to do it in public.

I have to be on shirt/ belly guard. That all I need is to not be paying attention and the boys wipe up my shirt in public!

They are excited to meet the new baby soon!

they may not be as excited when the baby is actually here and there is crying and a even more distracted mommy!

Nozzy's in the rocks face plant!

Well our little cutie took a nose dive into the rocks yesterday afternoon.

He was wobbling down a slop at home and i was prob 15 feet away watching and coaching him to be slow and be careful. He did well hea=eding my instructions until it came to the bottom where there was a bit of a drop off. He stopped and tried to ( what looked like) bend forward to put his hands down to help himself sit and then step down onto the rocks. But instead of that he just did a complete face plant right into the rocks!

arrrrgggggg! that is not fun to watch and then the few seconds where u wait for the awful cry to come.

I ran ( as fast as my big self could move) and grabbed him as I said pat! he just did a face plant. So we both flew to the rescue. Aww it was sad to hear his frantic cry and see his face scratched and full of dirt. But Thank God it wasnt bad and after a short while he was ready to play again!

The little turkey was not interested in letting me get a picture of the damage at all. he kept turning everytime i had the camera out.

But eventually i was able to sneak a few picture that sort of showcased his war wounds.

it used to be a two eye wink but last week he mastered it. It was awesome. he was so proud of himself. mostly because we made a big deal out of it. but it was a big deal. it was so cool to look over and see him one eye wink at me out of the blue!

week 32

Well its week 32 , the time is flying by. 8 more weeks sort of seems long but everytime i turn around its friday again and another week is gone.!Ive actually had energy and the desire to get things done lately. Must be nesting. Thank God for creating the nesting period because I was concerned I was going to be lazy and unmotivated forever. Feels mlike this whole pregnancy ive been just dragging myself around and forcing myself to do even the smallest tasks.
I have a before the bab y comes to-do list . I sctratched of painting the kitchen finally the other day. I had a two toned green kitchen that i nevber finished before christmas. I spent monday tackling that job. I had to put what felt like a hundred coats of paint on it. I last week organized and cleaned the cupboards and cleaned and scrubbed the fridge. So the kitchen is almost spring cleaned. and yet it looks terrible again. Thanks kiddies!
I went to the doctors and to my great surprise I only gained 1 pound in two weeks.WOOHOO that has never happened in the history of my pregnancy's. I also for once measure 31 cm and i was 31 weeks. I usually measure 2 cm bigger than my week.
So i asked again if the baby could end up 11 pounds. and Doc said starting at 32 weeks the baby will gain 1 pound per every 2 weeks. So if at the time of my appoint the baby was 4 pounds and 8 weeks left then the baby would gain approx 4 pounds. So he figures unless there is a huge growth spurt then the baby is looking like it is going to be 8-9 pounds! i can handle that! but again iam not holding my breath. But I will continue to watch what i eat and hopefully it will make the difference.
I go again next week again so hopefully its only another pounds wieght gain!
I go to the doctors every 2 wks now until i think 36 weeks then it jumps to every week.
Wow the baby will be here before we know it.
Better get going this morning and scratch off something off the to do list!

Bedtime prayer!

I just put Weston to bed and after a book and a little chit chat we talked to God for a few min. I usually start it off by thanking God for our day and keeping us safe and for all the fun things we got to do etc. Weston will chime in when he thinks of things. So after we had finished Weston oh yea and God tell Jesus to have fun in the sky! and tell him to not get lost or we will have to call 911!

Weston a few weeks ago at swim lessons got to slide down a fireman pole into the pool. Which is where i think the idea for today's game came from.I was laying in  bed with a cranky Nelson (will explain after) an d into the bedroom Weston runs with the broom. He leans it up on the foot board of the bed and climbs up on the bed and steps over and slides down the "fire pole" onto the floor. Well it wasn't that smooth because he fell into the laundry basket and then rolled onto the floor and then started laughing!

As for Nelson being cranky..... We had the dreaded vaccinations today.And if the whole needles thing didn't stress me out enough it was the awful MMR day.
I had originally intended to  not get my children this needle. But i later decided that if would get the initial needle but postpone if get it all the booster shot.
I don't like vaccinations for the ingredients in them but i do acknowledge the purpose of them. So instead of saying to to any I choose to wait until they are at least 15 months old before they receive ANY needles and then I pick and choose which ones I feel comfortable with.
It was mentally draining for me to make a decision to get any needles at all. but i made the decision with Weston and I had to talk to God about my Resistance to them and really realize that God is the only one that can keep my kids safe and that if I ask God to make sure nothing bad comes from them then I need to believe that , that is exactly what God will do. Do I have to remind myself that" fear isn't from God, that a sound mind is" constantly before and after i get the needles I most certainly do. But a little reminder is all I need and I am calm again!
Calm OK but annoyed yes still. Nelson got his needles at 10 , we went and played at the YMCA and ate lunch there. Came home and at 1:30 I put him to bed thinking there was a good chance he would sleep a good chunk of the afternoon away.
2:10 i was woken from my nap by him crying. I gave it a few min thinking he just stirred a bit and is trying to find his soother. No such luck.
I went and got him and he cried for 20 min while I held him and tried to calm him down. eventually he stopped the continuous cry and instead would only cry if I moved or if Weston touched him or looked at him the wrong way. But later on Weston was being silly and doing funny things that was making Nelson laugh so i knew he was starting to feel better
Needless to say it has been a long afternoon and evening. He did cuddle with me for 4 hours straight whichwas sort of nice but as soon as I would try to adjust my post ion because my back hurt after  a while he would fuss and cry.
But he is in bed and quiet and thank God will Iam sure wake up to be fine in the morning!. He has never had any reaction at all to his needles but he does have a runny nose so he might be fighting a cold as well. Good thing I just got the new aromatic chest rub yesterday so hes all lathered up and sleeping soundly.
\Westons sleeping Nelson and Hemi too. Pats out for the night and instead of cleaning the house Iam going to watch a movie right here on the couch with the laptop so i don't even have to move a inch!
