A few weeks ago we came across and surprise for the boys. It was a great price and so I was able to easily talk Pat into getting it for them. So we took a Saturday morning and went and picked it up and brought it up to the camp. The boys had no idea what it was just that they were going to get a surprise!
So I got the camera out and as we drove up to the camp I took pictures of there reactions. This picture they are looking to see if they see it yet!
And this picture they just caught a glimps of it." Whoa mommy"" is what Weston was saying
TA DA! there own playset! We bought it second hand and got it for less than half of its original price. It was only 2 yrs old and in great shape. Here is Pat putting it together. this picture still doesnt have the side arm with all the swings on it. it came with a matching picnic table.( costco)
Because we live on a hill , it obviously wouldnt be good at our house so putting it at the camp was the best place for it. actually works out great because they can play on it while we are in the pool. it is just outside the fence for the pool!
That day was a big day for Nelson! he has never been in the pool before. He has had no interest in the pool and when we would ask him to come in he would get upset. So this day i was clewaning out our little cabin for our up coming guest and i looked out and seen Pat getting Nelson all geared up. Apparently he told Pat he wanted to go into the pool! we think he must of been hot!
So they started out slow with putting their feet in the water and going from there.
Splish Splash, this was a few minutes before it was all over. Apparently Nelson was getting more comfortable and he stood up and due to his lifejacket he was top heavy and fell face fiurst into the water. Pat grabbed him but not before his face hit the water a little bit. So that was the end of that!!!!!!! so much for Nelson enjoying the pool!
So now Nelson has once again resumed his postion pool side eating snacks while we all go swimming.
